India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and houses one of the biggest shares of population that lives below the poverty line. A country that has one of the most compelling potential in the form of well-educated and skilled youth, yet also scores high on the chart of maximum illiteracy.

India has already established itself as a superpower in the IT sector, and yet many rural parts of this country are yet to have basic internet facilities. A preferred destination for medical tourism, but many underprivileged Indians can't avail the modern medical facilities. A land of diversities indeed! Indian government has undertaken numerous initiatives to uplift the poor socio-economic conditions of the underprivileged, but sadly, these initiatives are tangled somewhere between the tedious administrative system and unruly corruption.

One of the biggest responsible factors for this situation is the neglectful attitude towards the women. They are the worst affected victims of this structure. Interestingly, Indian urban woman have been renowned for their excellent balancing act between domestic and professional duties and leaving no area or domain unconquered. Her rural counterpart is unfortunately left behind due to the lack of support and opportunities. This is why it has become extremely imperative to include this vibrant women-force in our mission to help India blossom into a developed nation in its most ideal and comprehensive and beautiful sense!
